Mama's Big Boy

William and Jack are brothers.  William is an angel, Jack a demon.  Just ask dad.  They are 10 years old.  I got them at about 10 days old and had to bottle feed them every hour and a half, just like people babies.  They have all the behavioral and disciplinary problems associated with bottle raised cats.

Katie, this is my chatty cathy cat, Mortimer.  He is also my social butterfly.  Pretty much keeps to himself unless we have a guest, then he is just glued to them.  He is gorgeous and has a wonderful personality.  Even my friend who hates cats, said she would take Mortie.  But he does have a really loud, obnoxious meow as you well know.  And breath that could drop a horse.  He is 16 years old.

Well today is Bertram's 14 week birthday.  He weighed 25 lbs even this morning.   He can now manage, with some effort, to haul his own carcass up on to the couch.  He has a healthy respect for the water bottle and is doing much better with his barking issue while in his kennel.  He is down to 1-2 peepee accidents in the house, usually the result of over-excitement or me not keeping a close enough eye on him

Bertie just kills me.  He has started trying to play with the cats.  The cats start to hiss and do that kind of slapping thing they do.  Bertie started to do it back, thinking what great fun.  The cats are just appalled that he would mimic their moves.  They aren't scared of him in the least.  In fact, will go tearing after him.
